An Ann Arbor resident contacted CMR Mechanical to discuss heating and cooling efficiency upgrades. In the end the customer decided to hire CMR Mechanical to install a ducted Mitsubishi Heat Pump system as well as an Energy Recovery Ventilator for freash air exchange and a Rheem Heat Pump water heater.  This project replaced an existing standard vent water heater and furnace.  The new system is 100% electric and on average the Mitsubishi heat pump will provide 3X the heat for every $1 spent on electricity making it very efficient. The Federal Tax Credits and City of Ann Arbor rebates can help offset the cost of installation.
